when there's no food in the house we have to go out to dinner (especially since no one wants to go to the grocery store friday night after a long week at work). jenn suggested flattop grill, how could i say no. besides, that's where i wanted to go to dinner even before she suggested it.

so the new server combined with the fact that i haven't really posted anything lately have me thinking that it might be time to rethink the entire site. it seemed like a great idea a year ago to organize the site into multiple categories, but now it just seems overwhelming.
so changes are coming. i won't say soon, but it'll happen.

so pepsi started this little promotion during the superbowl to give away 100 million downloads from the itunes music store, which means i'm drinking more pepsi than i usually do. now it's not that i dislike pepsi, i just prefer other kinds of pop (like orange crush) much more. anyway, back to the point. so far i've bought three bottles of pepsi, and according to the official odds (1 in 3) i should have won one download. but if that were the case i wouldn't be posting this, now would i?
so how many downloads have i won? three. yes, i'm three for three. so either the odds aren't really true or i've found the lucky pepsi stash at my local jewel. of course now i probably won't win anymore...

jenn and i got married! it was a nice, small ceremony at garfield park conservatory. we had one minor run-in with a security guard who seemed to think that andrew was a professional photographer, but once we got that sorted out everything went smoothly.
jenn and i are enjoying our first week of being married, even though things don't seem to have changed that much. anyway, enough talking, go look at the photos.

when i was in high school i had a band. we really weren't that great, but we had a lot of fun. here's our one and only album, finally brought into the digital age.
sorry for the poor quality sound, we recorded it in a basement without any proper recording gear. hopefully in the near future i'll have time to clean it up a bit. until then you'll have to deal with the hiss of analog technology. enjoy!
